It’s sure a pet peeve of mine: The food you order at a fast food place, or any chain, really, like Denny’s or BJ McFriday’s, never looks like the stuff on the menu or sign. KFC may be one of the exceptions– that chicken in a deep-fried crust an inch and a half thick pretty much always looks the same. Their bowl of shame doesn’t hold up so well, though, along with dozens of other sandwiches, burgers, and things wraped in things. I wish they would update more often– maybe send some pics or ideas in!
